JAMMU, Jan 25: BJP MP Jugal Kishore Sharma today visited village Badsoo and laid foundation stone for Baba Talla to Goldi Kutt road costing Rs 6 74 crore and inaugurated Urlani Palli road and Bridge worth Rs 8 crores under NABARD Scheme.
He laid e-foundations for other 5 projects costing Rs 19.21 crores under NABARD in various parts of District Jammu in his Parliamentary constituency.
While addressing the gathering, the MP said that these roads and bridges were the long pending demands of the inhabitants of the area. He said that during the rainy seasons people of village Urlani and Palli have to suffer a lot. He said that education of the children also suffers and people get cut off from the urban area.
Jugal Kishore said that when he was MLA, this project was initiated but could not get completed due to shortage of funds. But in Modi Government these projects are sanctioned under NABARD and funded for providing connectivity, he added.
The MP said that network of roads has been laid after the formation of Modi Government in Center in 2014. He said that seven projects were kick started today and one project was dedicated to the public, which are worth Rs 35 crores approximately. These include construction of road from Odak to Handwal, Kalyar (Mathwar) to Charngal Middle School, Keran to Talai, road to Christian Colony from Central Jail Kot Bhalwal to Keran & Kalyar to Keri Talab.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi worked with the commitment & the projects whose foundations were laid are now finishing within time limits. He said that Bharatiya Janata Party is fulfilling the agenda of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikaas” and delivering committed services to the people.
DDC Shamim Akhter, Executive Engineer PWD Sunil Thusu along with staff, senior BJP leader Vinay Sharma, Vijay, Balkrishan, Yograj, Rattan Lal, Pankaj Sharma Yuva, Sanjay Sharma, Parkash Singh, Sarpanches & Panches were also present on the occasion.
