MP releases two books in Dogri

JAMMU, June 16: Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma today released two Dogri books in a function held at K L Saigal Hall here today.
The function was organized by Nami Dogri Sanstha- an art foundation. Madan Lal Sharma was chief guest, Savita Bakshi additional secretary Cultural Academy noted Sitar player the guest of honour while PYC president Shah Nawaz Choudhary as special invitee. They released the books ‘Dogri Bhasha Te Vyakaran’, penned by Yashpal Nirmal and ‘Meri Rachna Mere Geet’ written by Rakesh Sharma Sarkar.
The MP in his brief address appreciated the efforts of young writers and said that writers and poets must contribute more and more for the promotion of Dogri language. He also complimented Sanstha for bringing out obscurity and promoting versatile and creative writers and artists.
Shah Nawaz Choudhary, Ms Bakshir, Prof Anupama Sharma president Nami Dogri Sanstha Dogra Harish Kaila, noted writer S S Anand Lehar and Rattan Basotra also spoke on the occasion. Yash Paul Yash presented vote of thanks.
