MPDA delegation apprises VC JDA of demands

JAMMU, Jan 30: A delegation of Motor Parts Dealers Association (MPDA) Transport Nagar, today called on Vice-Chairman of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Pankaj Kumar Sharma and apprised him of their various demands.
They demanded clearance of files which are pending for NOC for the last five to nine years in JDA. As the MPDA members have submitted original files for NOC with complete formalities, the same is required immediate clearance for getting loan from different financial institutions, they explained.
MPDA also demanded physical possessions of the land in favour of the Association for establishing free dispensary for immediate first aid to the mechanics of Transport Nagar. The proposal in this regard has already been approved by former VC JDA and now the file is pending in the office of Land Director JDA Jammu, said the members.
Further, the Association members demanded urgent requirement of two Sulabh Shochalya, one in Yard number seven and other in Yard number one. This proposal has already been approved with the identification of land with the approved site plan and JMC Jammu requires physical possessions for further action at the earliest for the convenience of Transport Nagar community & commuters, they said.
The VC JDA listened to the delegation patiently and assured positive action in respect of all the demands.
