JAMMU, Oct 21: A meeting of Mata Rudra Ganga Trust (MRGT) was held here today in which Satish Wazir was unanimously elected as working president of the Executive Committee of the Trust and Joginder Singh Thakur as general secretary.
The meeting also discussed further course of action and programmes of the Trust.
The newly elected working president was given the liberty to nominate his working team for better and effective execution of programmes of the Trust.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Rudra Ganga Dham is situated at Chandraini in Dessa from where Rudra Ganga originates from Rudraksh.
Rudra Ganga Yatra is held every year on Guru Purnima in the month of July and it starts from Kathua and culminates at Chandraini Top (Dessa) is district Doda.
Thousands of pilgrims join this pilgrimage every year.
