JAMMU, Aug 20: J&K Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) took out a Tiranga Rally in Jammu on Tuesday.
The Tiranga Rally was organised in connection with ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme by Muslim Rashtriya Manch (MRM) in Gandhi Nagar area of Jammu. The rally was formally flagged off by all India convenor, MRM, Abu Bakr Naqvi. Besides, others, the rally was attended by Gulshan Kumar (organiser J&K, Ladakh), Mir Nazir Ahmed (convenor J&K, Ladakh UTs), Malikzada Mohd Shahzad (legal advisor J&K, Ladakh UT’s) and others.
Slogans like Meri Mati Mera Desh, Madray Watan Hindustan Zindabad, Aek Hind Jai Hind, Aadhi Roti Khayenge, Bachon Ko Padayeingay, Taleem Zindgi Kay Liye, Zindagi Watan Kay Liye, Muslim Rashtriya Manch Zindabad were raised on this occasion.
The rally passed through different markets and finally concluded at Auqaf Market Gandhi Nagar.
Expressing his views on this occasion, Abu Bakr Naqvi said the purpose of “Tiranga Rally” is to unite all the people together by religion and nation. ” It was aimed at infusing the spirit of patriotism in the hearts of the citizens and join in the walk for peace and prosperity of the country,” Naqvi said.
The Har Ghar Tiranga is a campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home. “Bringing the Tricolor at home is a collective effort as a nation in the 78th year of independence. “It becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation building,” Naqvi added.
Meanwhile, a plantation drive was also launched by MRM crew at Muthi near DSE office Jammu.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion included, Ali Mohd Chechi (co-convenor J&K), Mohd Aslam Malik (co-convenor Intellectual Wing), Shahid Kalas (co-convenor Jammu province), Fayaz Ahmed Wani (secretary Jammu province), Rayees Ahmed Sheikh (secretary Jammu Province) etc.
