Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament

Reasi, May 2: Government Middle School Chassanna trounced Middle School Kundardhan and lifted the kho-kho girls under-14 years title in the Zonal Level Inter-School Tournament of district Reasi at Sungri, here today.
The tournament in which about 175 boys and girls took part was held under the overall supervision of Dr Swarn Singh Chib, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Reasi, while S Harbans Singh, Zonal Education Officer was the chief guest on the occasion.
Earlier, Government Middle School Morahmal trounced Middle School Kundardhan to claim under-14 years boys kabaddi title, while Government High School Banna thrashed Higher Secondary School Channa and lifted kabaddi under-17 years boys trophy.
Meanwhile, in wrestling event, Anil Singh of High School Channa bagged gold in 32 kg category, while Pradeep Singh of High School Banna clinched gold in 40 kg category. Pradeep Singh of High School Banna, Yakeen Singh of Higher Secondary School Channa and Ashok Singh of Middle School Sungri got gold medals in 42, 45 and 46 kg categories respectively.
The matches were officiated by Physical Education Masters namely Ashok Kumar, Ramesh Chander and Chatter Singh.
