JAMMU, Feb 16: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) led by their president, Sunil Dimple here today staged a protest demonstration demanding restoration of Statehood to J&K.
Addressing protesters Dimple said that PM Modi should bring a bill in the Parliament to restore Statehood to J&K with special status and hold Assembly elections.
He claimed that BJP is scared of holding Assembly elections in J&K and there will be no such elections for next two year.
The MSJK leader said that in absence of popular Government and with no Statehood, the BJP has ruined identity and culture of J&K.
He alleged that the ongoing land eviction drive will create law and order problems in J&K.
“BJP is evicting inhabitants from J&K to settle outsiders without lease and State Subjects,” Dimple maintained adding: “BJP should clear its stand on liberation PoJK, Gilgit, Baltistan and unification of Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir.”
He threatened to start agitation against the proposed Property Tax from April 1.
Prominent among those present in the protest were Rajinder Bhargaw, Rajesh Kumar, Vicky, Kewal, Sewa Ram and others.
