JAMMU, Oct 10: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against hefty electricity bills.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who also demanded to restart Darbar Move practise in J&K.
He said that the power projects of J&K should be returned back to J&K and demanded free electricity and drinking water to the people of J&K.
Addressing the protesters Dimple flayed installing of smart meters.
He said that smart meters are running fast and giving more units than the actual consumption of electricity.
MSJK leader claimed that traders of Jammu have suffered losses due to stopping of Darbar Move practise.
Swarn Singh, Vijay Virdi, Arun Verma, Lahori Shaha, Kala Singh and others were also present in the protest.
