JAMMU, Feb 21: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against JMC and PWD (R&B) and expressed resentment against the worst condition of Jammu city roads and Amphalla-New Plot-Janipur main road.
Addressing protesters MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple demanded construction of ring road and start of Metro train from Amphalla-Manda to Janipur-Bantalab-Akhnoor.
He also demanded road blacktopping and construction of Janipur main road, drains, repair of footpaths damaged by smart city projects, PWD R&B and JMC.
The MSJK leader further demanded construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewel Chowk to solve traffic problems.
He claimed that PWD R&B, JMC and ERA have done substandard blacktopping on Janipur road which washed away with first rain.
Partap Singh, Sanmukh Singh, Mangu Singh, Vikram Singh, Sanjay Mahajan, Rajinder Bhargav, Kewal Krishen, Surinder Kumar, Vicky Dogra and many others were also present in the protest.
