JAMMU, Aug 21: Activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration against PDD for long power cuts and hefty electricity bills delivered to poor people even after installation of smart meters.
The protest was led by MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple who demanded return of J&K Power Projects back and free electricity and drinking water to the people of J&K.
He said that there is no equality as in Jammu the smart meters have been installed at a few places while people in Kashmir didn’t allowed even a single smart meter in their area.
Dimple claimed that the BJP led Government has adopted a criminal silence on public issues.
