JAMMU, Sept 2: Irked over acute scarcity of drinking water and long power cuts in Jammu, activists of Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) here today staged a protest demonstration against PHE and PDD departments.
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple who extended full support to the agitation of daily wagers of PHE and PDD.
The protesters held empty buckets and pots and raised slogans against PHE and PDD departments.
Addressing the protesters Dimple said that no water is being supplied to the people of Jammu city due to strike of daily wagers and the city is reeling under long power cuts even after installation of smart meters.
Raju Kumar, Chnuni Lal, Ram Kumar, Dev Raj and others were also present in the protest.
