MSJK stages protest

JAMMU, July 13: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against the BJP Government for its “anti- poor policies, rising prices, prepaid metering process and lack of basic amenities.”
The protest was led by MSJK president, Sunil Dimple who said that the Government has failed to check the prices of essential commodities and the vegetable prices are touching sky with tomatoes being sold at Rs. 200 per kg.
He demanded 500 units of electricity per month free of cost to the people of J&K.
The MSJK leader claimed that after installing the smart meters, bills with faulty heavy amounts are being served to the consumers wherein the SMS messages contradict the reading on meters.
Swarn Singh, Vijay Virdi, Nitin Saini, Arun Verma and others were also present in the protest.
