MSJK starts hunger strike in support of terminated health workers

JAMMU, Apr 21: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) leader, Sunil Dimple here today sat on a hunger strike in support of 1600 terminated health workers from all over J&K.
Speaking on the occasion Dimple alleged that GMC Principal issued termination order even after the LG Manoj Sinha assured the health workers of their regularisation within three months.
He said that the health workers were terminated after the government used their services in COVID period.
MSJK leader said if termination order of the health workers is not revoked till the visit of PM Modi on April 24 then they will start indefinite hunger strike.
He appealed to the LG, Manoj Sinha to fulfil his promise made with the health workers during his visit at GMC meeting.
Prominent health workers present in the protest were Rita Khajuria, Sunita Devi, Anjali, Mahi, Sushma, Mahvesh and others.
