JAMMU, May 19: Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) has threatened strong agitation if the BJP led Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) imposes Property Tax on the people of Jammu.
In a press conference here today MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple claimed that JMC is not competent to take decisions like ban on loudspeakers, imposing Property Tax etc as the same should be done by the elected Government.
“BJP led JMC has made mockery of rules and is paying communal politics,” he alleged flaying the government for opening liquor shops at every corner of the city.
The MSJK leader also said that BJP led JMC and SMC have sold roads to contractors from outside who charge for parking vehicles on the roads while the vehicle owners have already paid registration fees to RTO.
