JAMMU, Apr 12: The Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Raina appealed the Government and the concerned authorities to release the salary of the migrant Schools for the month of February and March at an earliest.
The salary of the staff at Government Higher Secondary School (Camp) Jagti, Government Higher Secondary School (Camp) Bohri and Government Mixed Higher Secondary School (Camp) Durga Nagar has not been drawn from last two months.
The delay in disbursing salary has left the staff of these institutions in the lurch.
The Association has requested the concerned authorities for not delaying the release of salary further, to save these employees from facing multiple problems.
