MTWA takes up issues with BJP leader

JAMMU, Apr 11: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) led by its Vice President Vinod Kumar Dhar called on BJP General Secretary Ashok Kumar Koul and apprised him about the problems being faced by the migrant teacher community.
Bal Ji Marhatta, General Secretary, MTWA put forth the demands including continuation of drawal of salary under account head 2011 (internal security) in respect of teachers instead of account head 2202 and controlling authority of allocation of budget should be entrusted to CAO Migrant Cell Jammu.
He also demanded release of salary for the month of March, shifting of camp HSS to Lower Barnai as building for the same has been identified and issuance of RBA category certificates to migrants belonging to specified reserved backward areas of Kashmir.
Ashok Koul assured the delegation that these issues will be solved on priority basis.
Among others present were Sunil Reshi, Venjan Raina, Raju Koul, Pankaj Koul, Ashok Kumar, Amarjeet Singh and Ravinder Mawa.
