MTWA takes up issues with Jt Dir Edu, Dir Funds

JAMMU, Nov 15: Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its president Ramesh Raina.
In the meeting, Raina informed the members of the association that a delegation of MTWA met Joint Director School Education and apprised him about various problems being faced by the teaching community.
The delegation urged Joint Director that the seniority lists of all categories of employee be maintained in the office for perusal by the employees.
The seniority list of fourth class employees was framed and the same was submitted to DSE Srinagar for action, he said, adding that the seniority lists of headmaster and masters will also be submitted very soon.
He added that the delegation also met Director Funds and urged him to get the GPF accounts of migrant teachers computerized. The Director assured the delegation that the issue will be considered on priority basis.
Among others present were Vinod Dhar, Rajesh Baghati, Sunil Reshi, etc.
