Mudasir Zafar’s upcoming film ‘The World has En Dead’ wins several awards

JAMMU, Aug 13: Filmmaker Mudasir Zafar’s upcoming film, “The World has En Dead,” has been making waves on the international film festival circuit, securing prestigious awards and accolades.
As per a statement, the plot revolves around a poignant premise, focusing on a 7-year-old girl portrayed by Reem Rizwan. As she awakens, she’s confronted with the startling reality of her family’s absence.
Soon, the gravity of the situation becomes even more harrowing as she realizes that the world has met its end. In an eerie twist, she finds herself as the sole survivor, accompanied only by a 10-year-old boy played by Rizq.
This gripping narrative has already earned the film top honors at several esteemed festivals, including the PAU Alternative Film Festival in Toronto, the San Diego International Kids’ Film Festival in California, the Baden International Film Festival, the Tamizhagam International Film Festival, the Birsamunda International Film Awards, the Couch Film Festival in Ontario, the Foto film International Istanbul, and the Cuckoo International Film Awards in Dubai.
Mudasir Zafar, the creative force behind the film as its writer and director, likened each film to a cherished creation, expressing delight in its independent journey. The process of garnering global recognition and the film’s evolution holds profound significance for him.

Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, he honed his craft at the Whistling Woods International film school under the tutelage of luminaries like Naseeruddin Shah and Rob Recee. In 2017, Zafar founded his own film production venture, Organic Motion Pictures.
