Mudgal lays stress on joint efforts for holistic development

Baramulla, Aug 25: Stressing for a team based effort for the cause of sustainable development and good governance, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Yasha Mudgal today chaired a meeting of officers. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Joint Director Planning and all District and Sectoral Officers were present.
The Deputy Commisioner took a comprehensive account of the functioning and constitution of the different departments in the district. The Dy.Commissioner stressed for joint working mechanism and a positive approach from various sectors. She said, “education, sports, health, connectivity and other essential facilities must be the main motive of the administration.” She impressed upon the officers for creating positive atmosphere and healthy interactive way of working.
The DC asked officers to keep up with the hopes and demands of the people and improve on their accountability perspective.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, meanwhile, briefed the Dy. Commissioner about the profile of the district. He informed the Dy. Commissioner that being one of the largest districts, Baramulla consists of four sub divisions, 16 Tehsils, 26 CD Blocks, 40 Naibats and 523 Revenue villages.
