JAMMU : PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was today sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir at the head of
a PDP-BJP Coalition government.
Mr Sayeed was administered the oaths of office and secrecy by Governor N N Vohra at a ceremony, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP and PDP leaders. The state had been under the Governor’s rule for the last 49 days following the assembly elections due to the political deadlock, which has now ended.
