Mughal road opened for traffic

POONCH, May 12: District Magistrate Poonch, Mohd Yasin Choudhary today declared opening of Mughal road for one way traffic.
An order issued in this regard reads ” in view of clearance of snow accumulation and landslides, the movement of one way traffic is hereby allowed on Mughal road from Buffliaz to Peer ki Gali with effect from May 12, 2023″, while SSP Poonch, SDM Surankote and DySP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch have been asked to deploy sufficient personnel to ensure smooth vehicular movement”.
DM Poonch, Mohd Yasin when contacted said that the road is cleared but snow has been accumulated on sides that is why one way traffic has been allowed from today and traffic will move from this side tomorrow as well, while the traffic department will accordingly issue the advisory for regulation of vehicular movement, while the cut of time as of now at Poshana Post will be from 10 AM to 4 PM.
ADC Shopian, Yar Ali Khan said that the road has already been cleared on north side of Peer Ki Gali. The District Administration today visited up to Peer ki Gali, most probably the order from our side will be issued tomorrow.
DySP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch said that advisory for traffic movement will be issued regularly after the issuance of road opening order by District Administrations.
