JAMMU, Mar 25: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Mula Ram today issued appeal to the people of Raipur-Domana constituency to support coalition candidate for Jammu-Poonch seat, Madan Lal Sharma in the Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing election meetings at Patta Ploura and Lower Raipur today Mula Ram highlighted the achievements of Congress party and UPA at the Centre and coalition in the State. He said several bold decisions have been taken by the Government in the larger interest of the people of this country. The State has been supported in big way by the UPA Government led by Dr Manmohan Singh and huge funding has been provided for many projects.
Mula Ram claimed that empowerment of Panchayats, creation of new administrative units are the two major decisions taken by the Government. Moreover, Food Security Bill and Right to Information are the revolutionary decisions taken by the Union Government.
Hari Singh Chib, secretary PCC, Rajni Bala- block president, Kuljeet Singh Sarpanch Bhupinder Singh Sarpanch also supported Madan Lal Sharma. They said that Congress candidate would win with great margin in the Lok Sabha election. Santosh Sharma, Vinod Kumar Shishupal and others also spoke on the occasion.
