JAMMU, Sept 10: Former Minister and vice president JKPCC Mula Ram undertook tour of village Ganeshu Chack, Sure Chack, Ram Bagh, Dund Pur and Top Manhasan areas of Raipur Domana Constituency and took stock of the problems of people. He was accompanied by Hari Singh Chib and Talanter Singh.
He said that the inhabitants of these areas are facing acute shortage of ration, drinking water, electricity and road connectivity. Besides many people whose house have been washed away in the flood are facing accommodation problem and they are compelled to sleep under open sky He urged upon the Govt. to immediately supply ration to the suffering people and restore water and power supply at the earliest.
He also demanded tentage accommodation for those who lost their houses in the havoc rains and flood. He appreciated the work of an Engineer Regiment of the Army for constructing a temporary bridge at Niki Tawi and providing a great relief to the people of the area.
