Mula Ram promises to make Raipur-Domana as model constituency

JAMMU, Nov 23: Former Minister and vice president, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), Mula Ram today promised to make Raipur-Domana a model constituency.
Addressing largely attended public meetings at Roop Nagar and Bhalwal area of the constituency, Mula Ram said that tremendous development had taken place in Raipur Domana Constituency during his tenure as MLA and Minister from 2002 to 2008.
He said that he had launched various development schemes for the improvement of electric power supply, water supply, medicare, education facilities, Sports and road connectivity, and the work had started for all major schemes but it was abandoned due to the reason that these works were sanctioned by him (Mula Ram). Even minor works were not completed and today the people of the area are facing problems on this account, he added.
Assuring the people that he will make Raipur-Domana a model constituency, the former minister appealed them to give him their mandate in this election and elect him their representative again.
Thakur Balwan Singh, Ex-MLA and Congress candidate from Marh Constituency also addressed the meeting at Bhalwal and appealed people to vote for Congress and elect Congress Chief Minister for the speedy and equitable development of all three regions of the State.
Hari Singh Chib, organizing secretary, PCC, in his address cautioned the people to beware of communal forces which are again raising their ugly head to divide the society on communal line for political gain.
