JAMMU, May 13: Municipal & Urban Local Bodies Pensioners Association (MULBPA) has expressed strong resentment over the decision of the Government to freeze the Dearness Allowance of the employees and pensioners.
In a joint press statement, the members of the Association expressed anguish over the Government order with regard to freezing of DA installments due on Ist January 2020, Ist July 2020 and Ist January 2021, respectively, of the Government employees and the pensioners in view of the Coronavirus pandemic and lockdown.
They expressed their dismay over the decision and said that Government should have caught big fish /capitalists, rather than creating economic crisis for the poor working class, senior citizens/ pensioners etc. They demanded that the Govt must review its decision.
