JAMMU, Nov 11: The five-day Multimedia Exhibition organized by Central Bureau of Communication at Jhiri near here on ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ concluded today.
The Multimedia Exhibition was organized alongside the 10-day-long annual ‘Jhiri Mela’ that commenced this week and is being visited by thousands of devotees from across the country to seek the blessings at Baba Jitto temple.
The ‘Jhiri Mela’ has been organised after a gap of two-years due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The exhibition showcased the freedom struggle of India through a series of ‘Photo Exhibits’ as well as audio visual medium.
Apart from this, special section in the exhibition was dedicated to eight years of Seva Sushasan-Garib Kalyan wherein achievements of the government across various sectors in the last 8 years including in J&K were highlighted.
Separate corner for Azadi Quest- recently launched online educational video games and Swaraj- 75 episodic mega serial portraying stories of unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle was also a part of the Exhibition display.
During the concluding day, the exhibition witnessed a large gathering of students from different schools and colleges of Jammu Region, officials of civil administration, ICDS workers and devotees across the northern region.
