JAMMU, Apr 14: Vice Chairman JAKFED and senior BJP leader Munish Sharma today flagged off Charri Yatra for Goddess Sukrala Mata, Billawar here from Rehari Chungi with religious fervor and gaiety in the presence of prominent citizens of the area and large number of devotees who gathered here to participate.
Speaking on the occasion , Munish Sharma urged upon the devotees to pray at the sacred temple for peace, prosperity and progress in the State.
Terming spiritual blessings as of utmost importance in today’s perplexed times, Vice Chairman said that such pilgrimages provide us an opportunity to have darshan and seek blessings of our Gods and Goddesses. He said that we should devote ourselves to the worship of God equally as we give time to our worldly needs and greeds.
Interacting with the devotees, Munish Sharma said that India is land of great saints and Sufis and religious destinations and to be born in such sacred land is a privilege for us and we should make optimum use of this opportunity to better our lives.
