Munsiff Court at Ghagwal demanded

JAMMU, Dec 17: Prominent citizens of Ghagwal tehsil in Samba district have demanded Court of Munsiff Judicial Magistrate first class in the tehsil headquarters.
In a handout Ashwani Sharma and Durga Dass Sharma-both advocates and senior citizens have claimed that locals of Ghagwal and Rajpura tehsils numbering about 50,000 have to travel about 20 kilometers one way to Samba for even basic court works.
They also said that Munsiff Court at Ghagwal will cater the needs of thickly populated Ghagwal and Rajpura tehsils.
These senior citizens also said that there are offices of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Block Development Officer, Tehsildar, Trauma Hospital etc in Ghagwal tehsil but the locals of the area are in great need of a Munsiff Court in the area.
