Murder accused arrested within 24 hours

LEH, Mar 22: Nubra police worked out a murder case with the arrest of accused within 24 hours.
As per police sources, yesterday, Police Station Nubra received an information through reliable sources that during intervening night of March 20 and 21 a Nepali citizen working as a labourer namely Raju Tamang, son of Birbal Tamang of Melanchi Ward Number 7 had stabbed to death his colleague namely Arjun Sai, son of Jai Bahadur of Surkal Nepal at village Sumoor Nubra over some dispute during gambling.
On receipt of the information, a case under FIR Number 5/18 under Section 302 RPC was registered at Police Station Nubra and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, multiple checkpoints were established and searches were conducted at probable places. After hectic efforts, the accused was arrested within 24 hours.
Police team led by SHO Nubra Mohammad Nissar made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Sonam Dorjey and SSP Leh Sargun Shukla.
