JAMMU, Nov 3: A murder accused, who was evading his arrest for the past several months, was arrested by Janipur police today.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Janipur police station conducted raid in Paloura area and arrested a man, who was wanted in murder case.
The accused has been identified as Rahul Sharma, son of Rajinder Sharma, a resident of Paloura.
He was wanted in a case registered on April 16, 2015 under FIR Number 78/15 under Section 302/34 RPC with Janipur police station.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Janipur police station Inspector Ranbir Singh Bhau made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO West Vivek Shekhar, SP City Shiv Kumar Singh Chouhan and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
