JAMMU, May 28: The Murti Pratishtha of Badshah Kalandar, a spiritual saint of Kashmir was performed with full religious rites and chanting of Vedic hymns at Badshah Kalandar Ashram Pandoka Colony Paloura on his 16th Nirvan Divas near here today.
In this connection a grand function was organized at the Ashram by Badshah Kalandar Trust. A Mahayagya was also held on the occasion. The Hawan started yesterday evening and Puranahuti was performed this afternoon. This was followed with serving of prashad to devotees.
A large number of devotes drawn from different parts of Jammu participated in the function to pay their obeisance to the saint and seek blessings. The function was held with full religious fervour and gaiety.
