JAMMU, Sept 29: The thieves struck a parked car in Janipur area and decamped with wallet of the owner kept in the car, besides music system fitted in the vehicle.
“The car bearing registration number JK06-6919 was parked at JDA Complex, Old Janipur, opposite to Bikaner Sweets,” Shahzada Saleem son of Abdul Rashid, resident of 2/112, Shant Nagar, Janipur, who presently owned the vehicle said. He said the burglary took place during the intervening night of September 28 and 29.
He said the thieves have stolen music system of the car and his wallet, which he had kept in the vehicle. “There were many important documents like Driving License, Voter Card, ATM card and some cash in the wallet,” he said, adding he has lodged a complaint in this connection at police station Janipur.
