JAMMU, June 11: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) in close coordination with Directorate of Social Welfare Department J&K and Sangam Tru Art Production presented its 64th Friday Dogri musical concert ‘Nasha Kola Bacho’ to aware the masses regarding drug abuse at Rehearsal Hall, Durga Bhawan Janipur, here today.
The aim of the concert was to promote most effective measures to protect the masses especially the vulnerable population such as adolescents from getting exploited by the menace of drug addiction.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Deputy Director, Health Department J&K Government in the presence of guest of honours VK Magotra, former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, MoI &B GoI, Dr Anju Kumari Dogra, & RP Amla.
These special items were staged during the concert including ‘Nasha Nai Kario Munde Kureio’, ‘Bacho Bacho Tobacoo Kola Bacho’, ‘Nai Pee Shraban’, ‘Bari Kharab Chutki’ and ‘Nahin Piya Tobacco Balma’,.
Moreover, the Pahari songs on “Savdhan Savdhan Corona Mahamari Se’ was also presented which was written by ML Dogra and assisted by Raju Bjagal as music instructor.
Rajni Gupta, MC Kotwal, Richu Kumar, Chahat Chadha, Rajeev Salotra, Sanjeev Sodhi were part of the enthralled performances, whereas Master Deepak Kumar presented vote of thanks.
