Musical Fountain Project at Bagh-e-Bahu upgraded, outsourced: Dir Tourism

JAMMU, Jan 31: Director Tourism Jammu Vivekanand Rai today said that they have upgraded Musical Fountain Project at Bagh-e-Bahu and now instead of evening shows, a number of activities will be organized throughout the day to attract more tourists.
Addressing a press conference here today, the Director Tourism said that Musical Fountain Project was started at Bagh-e-Bahu with a huge investment to attract tourists but it was not being proper utilized as only two to three laser shows were being organized in the evening.
He said they have now upgraded the project and did value addition by installing Aquaplex on the water body at Bagh-e-Bahu and outsourced the whole Project. “Being a picnic spot, Bagh-e-Bahu attracts a lot of people by doing value addition, we want to attract more tourists besides wooing them for night stay,” he added.
The Director said that now throughout the day, one or other activity will be organized related to Musical Fountain Project. “People can book the upgraded water body for photo-session or picnic in the day,” he said, adding, in the evening laser shows will be organized and thereafter, regional movies or Bollywood movies will be screened.
He further disclosed that the entry free for all these activities will be nominal and anyone can book the ticket as booking is App based or QR code based. However, booking on arrival will be also available, the director added.
