JAMMU, Oct 12: To celebrate the International Day of Girl Child and to promote the traditional culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today staged Musical Play ‘Doli’ in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & National College of Computer Education.
The programme was inaugurated by the chief guest V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity.
Dr. Anju Dogra from Health Department, Dr. Tara Singh Charak, Former Deputy Director in Health Department, Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Excide & R.P Amla, Event Director were the guests of honour.
The programme commenced with welcome song by the artists of BLSKS and students of the institute.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest lauded the role of BLSKS and underlined the importance of staging such plays to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils.
The singers, musician, actors and students who performed in the play were Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, K.K Joshi, Raju Bajgal, Kuldeep Raj, Aryan Verma, Surinder Verma, Priya, Chahat Chadha, Rajinder Saini, Rajni Gupta, Ujwal Sharma, Darshan Rajwal, Sanjeev Sodhi, Dhruv Pandit, Mukesh Arora, Vansh Raina and others.
