JAMMU, Nov 9: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) here today staged musical play ‘Ekta Ka Diya’ which was based on the theme of national integration and communal harmony.
The function was inaugurated by Dr. Anju Dogra, Registrar SMGS Hospital along with V.K Magotra, Former Regional Director of Field Publicity; J.K Raina, Freelancer Producer-Director of Films; R.P Amla, Former Field Publicity Assistant and M.L Dogra, Chairman BLSKS.
Renowned artists K.K Joshi, Usha Raina, M.C Kotwal, Kamli Devi and Neelam Gandotra presented the devotional songs on the occasion.
The musical play ‘Ekta Ka Diya’ was written, produced and directed by M.L Dogra and the music was composed by Raju Bajgal while the songs were sung by the artists of BLSKS.
Welcoming the dignitaries M.C Kotwal, BLSKS General Secretary said, national integration refers to the perception of single national identity among the people of a country belonging to different races, castes and religions.
Artists who performed in the play were Usha Handoo, M.C Kotwal, Dhruv Pandit, Deevam Jandiyal, Bhoomika Chib, Ujwal, Rakshit Sharma, Darsh Kachroo, Mahi, Muskan, Kanchan, Mohan Sharma, Anita Sharma, Joginder Chib, Azeen Ali and Kuldeep Raj.
