Musical programme ‘Mangal Dhawani’ organized

JAMMU, July 16: Heritage Strings-School of Rock in association with Nirvana Academy organized “Mangal Dhawani” – A musical program at Rich Heritage School, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. S  Jagdeep Singh, Executive Producer Doordarshan Jammu was the chief guest while Ashutosh Sharma a veteran classical singer and Hitesh Badyal, president Nirvana Academy were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Program started with a spellbound performance of Mukteshi Sharma, a renowned classical singer of the town followed by the magical performance of Aditi Parimoo from Delhi. “Bahon Mein Chale Aao” by Shivani Bamotra and “Teri Diwani” by Ripan Bhat were highly appreciated by the audience. A retro medley on guitar and vocals by Keshav Prajapati was the main attraction of the program.
Anmol Amla, Director Heritage Strings- School of Rock said that this was the only institute in the town where students could learn Indian Classical as well as Rock Music. Hitesh Badyal, president Nirvana Academy said that Nirvana Academy in collaboration with Heritage Strings – School of Rock will organize grand events which will provide stage and promote student of the institute to get exposure in the field of music.
Sanchit Dewan and Sahil Sahni, Sumit Kumar and Nipun Sharma, Sumit and Sankarshan Kakkar, Paras Gupta, Suhail Bajaal and Rakshit Mahajan performed duet songs while Vikrant Bovoria, Sanchit Singh Slathia, Abhishek Gupta, Nature Deep Kaur, Nipun Kohli, Princey Kaur Barora, Nikhil Sharma, Atul Chalotra, Sushant Gupta, Soham Amla, Richen Jandial, Shreya Mohan, Ankush Kaul, Shubham Bali, Amit Sharma, Shrey Bakshi, Archit Mahajan, Shivain Ghai, Rahul Kohli performed in various group songs. Solo were presented by Avnish Sharma, Arshiet Vaid, Sahil Sapalia, Lalit Menia.
Chief guest distributed certificates among all the participants.
