Musk claims Starmer tried to undermine US presidential election

WASHINGTON, Jan 13: US billionaire Elon Musk on Monday accused UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer of sending agents to the United States in order to undermine the recent presidential election in the country.
“He sent operatives to America to undermine the US election!” Musk claimed in a post on X, commenting on a post that said Starmer had not been invited to the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
In early January, Musk accused the UK prime minister of being “deeply complicit” in a scandal involving mass rape of girls by gangs in the United Kingdom, pointing out that Starmer was the head of the Crown Prosecution Service from 2008-2013, when the rapes were happening.
A presidential election took place in the United States on November 5, 2024. Republican candidate Donald Trump, who served as the US president in 2017-2021, was declared the winner by all leading race callers and networks. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris conceded defeat.
