JAMMU, July 26: Jammu Muslim Front has appealed the J&K UT administration to come up with action oriented programmes to put on track the business activities, which are reeling under losses since August 5, last year.
JMF leadership, while discussing the slow pace of economy turn over and total failure of markets to pick up business due to various factors since August 5, expressed serious concern over health of the J&K economy.
While deliberating on the issue, members of the Front, especially the president Qazi Imran urged the UT administration to check the corruption and shunt out the people of doubtful integrity by retiring them to save the rule of law. “Recent recovery from an IAS officer prove that big fishes are still ruling the roost under the garb of patriotism, which should not be the criteria of accessing performance,” he added.
The Front appealed to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir that proper social distancing and hygienic approach should be maintained while celebrating forthcoming important festival of Hindus and Muslims while Government should provide full support to the masses to celebrate the festival.
Qazi stressed that in no way, Government should fall prey to the communal forces trying to sabotage peace and harmony. “LG should keep a check on such black sheep in the administration whose action may prove counter- productive and create an atmosphere of instability creating wedge in the society,” he added.
