JAMMU, Nov 3: Reacting sharply to Maulana Arshad Madni’s comment about the safety of Muslims which he made at the event “Save Constitution” held at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in Delhi, saying that Government should stop unfair policies against Muslims, Rajya Sabha MP, Gulam Ali Khatana said “If Muslims are behind today, it’s because of Congress”.
He said, “Muslims are safe here. It is Congress’s votes that are not safe. They create fear to keep Muslims away from the mainstream.”
Khatana further accused Congress of creating fear among Muslims keeping them uneducated and stopping them from helping the country grow.
Khatana urged the Muslim community not to be afraid. He said, “This country belongs to all of us. No one should feel fear or insecure.”
