NEW DELHI, June 4: Mustard seed futures prices enquired higher by Rs 5 to Rs 3,967 per quintal in futures trade today on building up holdings in line with emerging physical markets.
Marketmen said higher spot markets following increased demand for oil mills amid tight arrivals, mainly boosted trading activities in mustard seed futures prices to upward side.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, mustard seed delivery for June rose by Rs 5 or 0.13 per cent to Rs 3,967 per quintal, in an open interest of 77,870 lots.
Also, the delivery of the most active July inched up by Rs 4 or 0.10 per cent to Rs 4,008 per quintal, revealing an open interest of 87,110 lots. (PTI)
