Muthi flats near completion; VC JDA inspects ongoing work

JAMMU, Aug 3: Vikas Sharma, Vice Chairman JDA today visited Muthi and inspected the ongoing works of Muthi flats, which are near completion.
He was accompanied by the Superintending Engineer JDA, Director Land Management, Secretary JDA, Senior Town Planner, FA, Executive Engineer, Tehsildars and other senior officers of JDA.
SE JDA informed that the work in two towers is fully completed and in one tower, it shall be completed this month itself. He informed that the work of Sewerage Treatment Plant and the Receiving Station is also going on at a fast pace.
According to a spokesperson of JDA, the pace of work of 72 3-BHK Muthi Flats has been given a major fillip in the last four months and with constant follow-up and effective monitoring, the flats are today nearing completion. The process of formal handing over of possession to the allottees has also been initiated. The allottees had also been invited to have a joint round of the flats providing them a communication channel for sharing their suggestions.
VC JDA informed that the work on the Phase II for construction of 144 flats including 48 3-BHK, 72 2-BHK and 24 5-BHK flats has also been started. He instructed to simultaneously start the work of all the towers as also the construction of the Club building. He directed the Engineering wing to closely monitor the Pert Chart and ensure that the envisaged timelines for the milestones are strictly honoured. He directed that all efforts be taken to complete the work of Phase II by December 2020. He also inspected that the shopping complex being constructed in Muthi be completed in next two months. He issued instructions for initiating the process of allotment of shops and the flats under Phase II.
Vikas Sharma further shared that JDA is actively working upon a Plan of Action to establish more flatted accommodation in the JDA jurisdiction and is finalizing the locations, building technology and mode of execution to launch the construction activity in the next few months.
While touring the adjoining area, VC JDA instructed the Engineering wing to fence the vacant parcels of JDA land to ensure that no encroachment takes place.
