Mutton shop sealed in Boniyar

SRINAGAR, Mar 24: Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department today sealed a shop in North Kashmir’s Boniyar area for allegedly selling mutton at exorbitant rates
Officials said that they had received a complaint about a mutton shop owner allegedly selling the commodity at exorbitant rates in Boniyar Nowshera locality.
In this regard, a team was constituted to visit the spot and the shop owner was found selling mutton at 600 per kilogram in total violation of the government-fixed rates.
The officials said that the shop was sealed instantly and further action in this regard will follow accordingly.
