KISHTWAR, Jan 2: The Enforcement Team of Motor Vehicles Department (MVD) here today under the supervision of ARTO Kishtwar, Mohd Saleem Manhas carried on a rigorous enforcement drive along Kishtwar-Chatroo road and inspected about 150 vehicles.
During the inspection 30 vehicles were challaned under various sections of Motor Vehicles Act 1988 and three vehicles were seized under Section 207 of MVA.
The seizure took place at Police Post Giri Nagar.
A handout of MVD stated that such proactive enforcement drives serve as a testament to MVD Kishtwar’s dedication to fostering a safer and more regulated road environment for all the citizens.
