Doda, Aug 18: MVD Doda organized a road safety awareness programme at Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Bhagwah today. The event was aimed to educate students about the importance of following traffic rules and promoting safe driving habits.
The programme began with an opening speech by Aarti, student of class 11th of GHSS Bhagwah, who emphasized the need for road safety and urged students to be responsible citizens.
Speaking in the programme ARTO Doda Rajesh Gupta gave a detailed presentation on various traffic rules and regulations. He also discussed the significance of traffic signals, signs, zebra crossings, and speed limits. The students actively participated in the session, asking questions and sharing their experiences.
To make the session more engaging, a debate competition on road safety was organized in which students participated with enthusiasm and shared their knowledge about road safety. Prizes were distributed to the winners as a way to encourage their participation. The MVD team expressed gratitude to the school authorities for their cooperation and support in organizing the programme.
