MVD launches campaign against drug abuse

Doda, July 8: In an effort to tackle drug abuse in the district, the MVD department of Doda has initiated a significant campaign called “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhayan.”. The campaign was led by ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, at TRC Pul Doda. The primary goal of the awareness campaign was to educate travelers, locals, and especially drivers about the dangers of drug abuse.
During the campaign, Gupta emphasized the importance of drivers and cleaners staying away from drug abuse. He also highlighted the recent initiative by Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan which made drug testing kits available in the department. These kits can help identify drivers and cleaners who are addicted to drugs.
The ARTO Doda also emphasized the need for drivers to prioritize their health, as it directly impacts passenger safety and security.
The launch of the “Nasha Mukat Bharat Abhayan” awareness campaign by MVD Doda is a significant step in combatting drug abuse in the district. By raising awareness among drivers and the local community, it aims to create a drug-free environment and promote the well-being of all residents.
