JAMMU, Feb 25: Management, Staff and students of MV International School today handed over a collection cheque of Rs 76,379 for Helpage India to Neeru Deepak Khajuria, Senior Executive.
Prize Distribution function was also conducted to honour the students who have collected the maximum contributed amount.
Naitik Tiwari of Class 4C, Apeksha Gupta of Class 1C, Akshay Choudhary of Class 1A were awarded 1st , 2nd & 3rd prizes respectively for the collection of the amount of Rs 2101, Rs 1800 and Rs 1,225 respectively. Nidhi Sharma, Sneha Choudhary and Ravinder Kour class teachers of classes 6A, 1C and 4C respectively were also felicitated for encouraging their students to collect the highest amounts. 9 students, who collected more than Rs 1,000 were awarded with consolation prizes and almost 70% students of MVIS were given Certificates, Helpage Bags, Badges for their contributions.
Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman, MVIS appreciated students whole heartedly for their contributions. Gourav Abrol, Director, MVIS lauded the efforts of the students & Helpage India.
Principal and Representatives of Helpage India gave the prizes to the children.
