MVIS organises Hindi story telling competition

SAMBA, Sept 9: MV International School (MVIS) organised an Inter CBSE schools Hindi story telling competition for students from classes 3rd to 5th, under the aegis of Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, Jammu. The topics were ‘Moral Values or Environmental Conservation’ for their presentations. Twenty five prominent CBSE schools of Jammu, Samba and Kathua participated in this event.
Kewal Krishan, CEO Samba, was the chief guest of the opening ceremony while Dr. Vandana Gupta, Principal GDC Vijaypur, was the chief guest during the closing ceremony. Principal MVIS, Kundan Lal Dogra expressed that the story telling was an ancient art in Indian history and that the same is being used as the latest pedagogy in NEP 2020.
First prize was bagged by Ashree Jandial from Heritage School; whereas Moksha Mahajan of Doon International School stood second and the third position was clinched by Dhanyata Verma from Army Public School Sunjwan. First consolation prize was won by Guransh Singh (Jodhamal Public School); whereas Nirmat Sharma (Rich Harvest School) won the second consolation prize and third consolation prize was won collectively by Akshita Sharma (Army Public School Kaluchak), Aarohi Sharma (Kartar Public School Kathua) and Vanya Bagul (MV International School).
Sanjeev Pradhan, Principal Army Public School Samba; Suresh Kumar Khajuria, HoD DIET Samba; Dr. Sheetal Sharma, Assistant Professor GDC Vijaypur and Vandana Gupta, DIET Samba were present on this occasion. The event was judged by Prof (Dr.) Sania Gupta, GDC Kunjwani Jammu; Dr. Archana Parihar, Sr. Lecturer HSS Sumbh and Nirmala Devi, PGT Hindi KV Samba.
