My Mother

In times of sorrow and joy,
In times of hope and distress,
In my life’s every phase,
Mom you are always there for me.
You taught me how to walk,
You taught me how to face the world,
You are always there for me,
I still hear you say,
“Go ahead, my child and you’ll find me with you”
You opened my eyes to success,
And that’s how I’ve come up to this day !

Departure’s sigh

The echoes of yesterday, nagging me
a whirlwind of feelings, hard to free
The walls that sheltered me,
now setting me free.
With every glance, a story’s told
looking in the eyes of mom
the breath I hold.
a haven where my tears are dried.
In every corner, a memory is stored
the door creaks shut, a chapter closed.

TIES

Bounded by many worldly ties
So engrossed to even detect a lie .
People have many characters and many faces ,
But if anyone close hurts you,
it will be difficult
For you to even find your own traces.
Sweet on top but foul within
How will you find it , from where you will begin.?
Close your boundaries, seal your seas ,
And don’t even allow anyone who disrupts your peace.

A Traveller…

On dark nights, carrying new hopes and old memories,
A traveller sets out, searching for the path to his destination…
Sometimes stumbling, with faltering steps,
Sometimes burning in the sunlight, sometimes under the shade of clouds,
He remains connected to the memories of his old village…
Sometimes in hope, sometimes in unwavering faith…
Sometimes in optimism, sometimes in despair…
He wavers in this truth-filled, sorrowful life…
Sometimes life feels like an end, sometimes a beginning…
The same life, sometimes a curse, sometimes a celebration,
Sometimes he loses, sometimes he wins,
Unraveling the tangles of this life’s challenges…
Sometimes he holds on, but in the next moment, he is held…
Maybe, all he has is hope, but his destination has full faith in him…
