SRINAGAR, Aug 2: Two persons lost their conscienceness by inhaling a mysterious gas while digging a well at Sikanderpora, Srinagar.
A police spokesman said Mohammad Saleem Khan son of Ghulam Mohammad of Chowdary Bagh and Abdul Rashid Kallu son of Mohammad Ismail of Hassibhat, Rainawari, fell unconscious by inhaling the gas that emanated from the ground.
The spokesman said they were removed to Rainawari Hospital where Khan was declared brought dead. He said Kallu has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar, for further treatment.
